Hi Prasanta, first of all — I'm so sorry to hear about your dear friend's niece. Life can hit hard at any moment can't it? With all that in mind, I love your message of still finding joy in the little moments in life. A recent realisation I've had is that we can still find small joys even in the midst of devastating events.
And having said that — huge congratulations on the release of your book!! I'm sure it's the culmination of many hours, writing, ruminating, and the dreaded edits! Today I've chosen to find joy in walking by the river. A fluffy jumper I'm wearing. A friend who cried when we gave her some good news. The cup of tea I had this morning — complete with a heart shaped chocolate from our wedding a couple of weeks back.
P.s. I'm also subscribing because it seems we have a lot in common — my newsletter is called A Human Experience! It's all about understanding the world that lives inside you so you're free to create a beautiful world on the outside too. So I think we'll gain a lot from each other! Happy to be here :)
Hello Renee! So lovely to meet you. We have to find those moments and pockets, don't we? It's essential to living. A fluffy jumper, walking by the river, tea and chocolate--all sound so lovely.
And WHAT? We have a similar Substack name? There is clearly some magic in the air. Happy to share this human experience with you, new friend. Heading over to your front porch now. : )
Hi Prasanta! Yes, it is lovely to meet you! Yes, we do need to find those little pockets of joy. And I know right! There is magic in the air for sure. I'm also so happy to find someone riding a similar wave length! What a wonderful place Substack is :') Thanks for coming over and spending some time at my place too. Looking forward to many more cups of virtual tea and reading together! Cheers to the meeting of our wonderous human experience!
I'm documenting joys this Eastertide by writing down a "pocket of joy" I find each day on the calendar behind my desk. Really grateful for this practice and how it's grounding me. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Prasanta! I’m hearing your name…& seeing signs of your presence (beautiful bookmarks at the RB table)! I’ll be there at 11 today. Are you going to our gathering tonight?

I am getting out in nature. Tonight I did a kettlebell workout in the grass and sunshine!
Getting out in nature is high on my list. But a workout outside sounds doubly good. Well done.

Love the idea of adding these to a calendar! It’s such a helpful practice, isn't it!?
See you in three days, Prasanta! Safe travels!
Hello!!! We still haven't seen each other!! One more day to make it happen, Cheryl!!
